About Us and our Training/Socialization Methods:
Dr. Ambre Smith is a practicing qualified veterinarian at Kudah Veterinary Services who also is a qualified dog trainer with the Karen Pryor Association, and IMDT. She is also fear free certified. She has extensive experience with all breeds of dogs, but especially loves working breeds. She breeds border collies who show in conformation, agility and rally obedience. Puppies are raised using puppy culture principles. Dr Ambre will be supervising all socialization sessions, along with Fear Free Certified kennel hands.
What is socialization? Socialization is not just about playing with other dogs and puppies. In fact, the most important aspect of socialization is meeting new objects, textures, smells, noises, animals (not just dogs, but other species too!) and even tastes in a positive manner. It is important to introduce new stimuli slowly and always ensure a positive experience. With COVID19 socialization can be difficult, this is a great opportunity to drop them off in a safe, secure atmosphere to have a new fun adventure!
Puppy Socialization Sessions include meeting other puppies of appropriate age, play style, size and temperament to ensure a positive experience. Fun obstacles, new tastes, textures, smells are planned for the session to help boost confidence to the "human world".
Pictures/Videos will be taken so you can be part of your puppy's positive adventure!
